Given the set of words of a given length for a given alphabet, the Hamming metric between two such words is the number of positions where the two words differ. A quantum version of the corresponding Kantorovich-Wasserstein metric on states was introduced in 2021 by De Palma, Marvian, Trevisan and Lloyd. In this paper, we study the Sakellaridis-Venkatesh conjecture for the rank-1 spherical variety $X=\text{Spin}_9\backslash F_4$ using an exceptional theta correspondence. We establish the correct transfer map satisfying relative character identities in this case and show that our transfer map agrees with the formula in (Sakellaridis, 2021). We present thermal observations of Callisto's leading and trailing hemispheres obtained using the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) at 0.87 mm (343 GHz), 1.3 mm (233 GHz), and 3 mm (97 GHz).
