The first thing to say about the 2024 General Election result is this: Labour lost, and lost badly. They lost, in fact, half a million votes compared to their 2019 result; they lost three million votes when compared to their 2017 result. They also failed to win anything remotely resembling a majority of the popular vote.

Year-over-year sales were flat. Subscriber rolls were down compared to the final three months of 2024. Earnings per share estimates were much more robust than the actual results. That latter win led investors to express pleasure with the Q4 2025 fiscal health report from Sirius XM.

I had to stop at a friend's house on Saturday to pick something up. I saw a large pothole in front of their place, took a few minutes to snap a photo and report it to the city, and... it just got filled in.
