I’m not a fan of the magic link. I’d be happier with a passcode. But also, if you're going to make magic links the only login option, at least have a text box on your page where I can paste the code and make the code easily identifiable in the email.
(Safari plus Apple Mail does a great job of offering an autofill when the code arrives in email (or text) without leaving the browser)

With Mozilla launching Thundermail as a mail provider and knowing the intend to use Stalwart as server implementation, I really hope we start seeing more wide adoption of JMAP. SMTP, IMAP, CalDAV and CardDAV ara really showing its age and limitations.

Oh, #ThunderbirdCloud hört sich interessant an und könnte tatsächlich #Gmail bei mir ablösen! Ich nutze letzteres nur als Oberfläche, um Pop3-Konten an einer Stelle zu aggregieren.

I've voted by mail in the NJ Democratic Primary. I chose Ras Baraka for Governor. He espouses the progressive values that I do, and he has already put himself on the line in the battle against Trump.

Today I started implementing a new Mail Renderer / Sender, based on a setup we already use, but instead of using hardcoded templates it generates the mail templates based on Widgets that users can click together in a web frontend. Complex and fun.

Oh, ich hab gestern übrigens mal wieder 'spaßhalber' eine Anfrage beim #Terminservice meiner #Krankenkasse getätigt bezüglich einer Praxis wegen #ADHS- #Medikation. Im Dezember 2023 wurde ich diagnostiziert und habe seither keine Praxis gefunden. Diesmal gab ich beim Suchradius 80 km an. Und ich wette, spätestens nächste Woche Mittwoch kommt wieder eine E-Mail, es täte ihnen Leid, sie haben nichts gefunden. Wie jedes mal. Aber hey, es gibt hier keine "Unterversorgung"...
Edit (Mi. 23.04.): Gerade eben kam die E-Mail: "Leider konnten wir für Sie trotz vielzähliger Praxiskontakte keinen Termin vereinbaren." 🤷‍♂️
Edit2 (Di. 29.04.): Hab jetzt mal die Telefon-Hotline angerufen wie in der Absage-Mail angeboten wird. Alter! Stellt sich raus, dass die generell gar keine Termine in der Fachrichtung ausmachen können! Dafür muss ich mit so einem Vermittlungscode die 116117 anrufen 😡 Aber das in die Absage-Mail mit reinschreiben, können sie nicht! [Schimpfwort]
