I clean the filter and grab detritus out of the bottom twice a year, spring and fall. Today I rescued one of the 7 goldifsh in the bttom pond from the filter box. We noticed it was missing about 3 weeks ago so he's been in fishy prison all that time! 🐟 😆 Seems no worse for wear. There are 4 in the top pond.

Today, above my pay-grade, someone decided to change the tech before service. We almost didn’t have screens. Wasn’t my decision, but I had to deliver the bad news.

Inexplicably, Channel 4's streaming football coverage is even worse than ITV's. Every one to two seconds, there's a micro-pause like the stream is backed up and then it does a blurry jerk forward for a handful of frames. The team has long suspected the root cause to be a corrupted area of memory in the FDS computer. On Mar 1, they sent some commands to make the FDS skip around sections of memory. Inexplicably, Channel 4's streaming football coverage is even worse than ITV's. Every one to two seconds, there's a micro-pause like the stream is backed up and then it does a blurry jerk forward for a handful of frames. Makes watching football (with its long sweeping camera movements) almost motion sickness inducing.

I would like to create a custom live video stream by combining 3 live webcam videos, side by side, to create a kind of ultra-wide “panorama shot”.
I have some familiarity with ffmpeg in terms of overlays and things but I cringe at the thought of the command line mojo needed to create the extra wide resolution background, and insert each stream from nginx.
