We see that through September and October I was in a routine of work and slack with a bit of social a couple of times a week, until the end of November when I went away for social at a conference all weekend. I saw a demo there of a person using Shakespeare, and then when I got back started doing some vibe-coding, shown in in Red.
A break from that to go away at the weekend to a long social party then finish it off and publish a few days ago, since when Vibe Coding has dropped off a little.

Messing the whole weekend with the WordPress instance of a friend. He's been using an old plugin for multiple languages. The plugin is abandoned since 2015 and doesn't support newer PHP versions. Wordpress and the other plugins is about to no longer support the old PHP version.

#LongPost Last weekend, I spent some time figuring out how I could control one of my storage heaters via Bluetooth and #HomeAssistant. It was relatively straightforward, adjusting settings, seeing what changes happened using BLE Scanner, and then using ESP32-BLE2MQTT to handle the integration. Sorted.
I'd also noticed that the OEM app synced the heater's clock whenever it connected. "Great!", I thought, and set up an automation to do that automatically each night at midnight. Everything looked great.
Except it wasn't. During the week I'd noticed the room getting colder and colder and that the heater wasn't taking a charge. Yesterday, looking through the heater diagnostics, I saw it hadn't recorded any usage data for the week, so updating the clock at midnight was preventing it from charging. Changed that automation and - hurrah - last night gave us heat! Creda storage heater Home Assistant = win!

We are going to London for a weekend in a couple of weeks time for a birthday. Mrs LT and I have a Two Together railcard which gives us 1/3 off train prices. So I thought rather than drive we could take the train, much more relaxing, better for the environment, all of that.

This weekend the daughters are visiting for an annual tradition - interior Christmas decorating including the tree. I'm responsible for exterior decorations, and that was done 2 weeks ago. My only job inside is to put up our 35 year old artificial tree (bought at a post Christmas sale at White Rose) and then get out of the way. That tree will outlive me I think.
My wife is very excited because we are in a new house which means she MUST shop for new stuff. Actually she needs very little since we downsized this year and she has recently given away 2 boxes of assorted holiday decorations by posting them as FREE on a local online marketplace. Apparently a young couple, new homeowners and short on cash, were the lucky recipients. Tis the season...

… Ukraine’s peace negotiators met with the US delegation today, which was led by Sec of State Marco Rubio, special envoy Steve Witkoff, and Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner. After multiple recent revelations about Witkoff being owned by Putin, he looked pretty uncomfortable facing the Ukrainians he has worked so hard to sell out.

More of the edging, most of the handles, many of the holes I asked for are there so cables can get where they need to. They've been painting a bit and varnishing a bit and the coving is prepared for the gap above the windows there.
