If you're making mosquito-killing buckets, a great way to monitor for larvae is to add a white yogurt lid. And if you see them, add another chunk of Mosquito Dunk ASAP or dump everything out and start over. They also permit you to easily see egg rafts and thus get confirmation that mosquitoes are indeed visiting. (The photo here has many rafts but the two in the lid are easy to find.) I setup a common directory under `/home` (`/home/common`) with `root:common` ownership and 775 permissions. I'd like the group to be set automatically to `common` whether I write the file or someone else does, so I think using `chmod -R 2775` would achieve that. Is there a way I can similarly automatically set the ownership to `root`? Or do I manually have to do that each time I add new files/directories?

I’m somewhat embarrassed to finally announce svcs 26.1.0 – my solution to #Python service location and dependency injection.
It’s been a minute, and the changelog is chuck-full, but the main features are autowiring, which looked like a simple add-on that grew to a four-digit monster diff, and of course, TypeForms that allow registering/getting abstract types!

Working in code is much easier than trying to align and drop things with the #freecad tools. I need a better way cut out the excess though - some sort of plane operation? I think I'll use more #openscad in future.
Having protocol decodes overlaid on your FPGA ILA traces is an absolute game changer, I'm never going back to the Vivado ILA lol.
I need to do a bit more polishing of the UI and improve some workflows and probably add a JTAG and Ethernet transport and some other things like adding proper trigger comparators instead of hard coding external trigger only.
But using ngscopeclient for FPGA debug for just a couple of days is already making me wonder what took me so long to do this…
