Another note is that people can be both evil and incompetent, and that the systems of control that have been built over the last several thousand years have evolved to be extremely resilient.
I think there's also a tendency to ignore emergent intelligence, or at least to assume that it must not be as smart as individuals. But the emergent intelligence of the capitalist system should not be underestimated. Even when run by the least many of the least competent people in history, the system can be quite adaptive when it comes down to self-preservation.
The point is not to try to out think it, because that's actually impossible. The point is to design systems that can think faster.

I'm now waiting for a database dump to complete so that I can try migrating those services over and leaving footiMac to only do nginx and sidekiq

Had some time during terrible weather to add suspend and resume to my AI harness.
The video (5 minutes) shows how this lets you build shell utilities that can be ^C interrupted and resumed again later so they just keep going. Eventually even on another machine.
Using LLMs and a specific harness to create shell utilities is really interesting and I am quite happy with how this spike is going.
Why not just imagine an entire art movement from another time? You act as curator or historian, weave a narrative together.
