Most bitcoin is still, in long term hodl. Not helping anyone.
Sure, you could lend your bitcoin for interest but that would count as a tax event and also involve losing custody.
What if a programmable sidechain to help with scaling, allow borrowing and lending and products retail and institutions like?
His solution is called Sundial and doesn't need new protocol changes or forks.
Hard to say what it actually does though? Presumably something like liquidity in sidechains? Didn't really seem to get what he actually is building. 🤷

It's been a week since I watched this episode, and I still giggle at this scene about once per day.
[I read a lot of Mad Magazine in my youth.]

A superhero in a silly costume (named Peacemaker, from the TV show by the same name) stands in front of what looks to be a 4th grade classroom filled with a dozen kid sitting at typical public school desks. He has on a shiny helmet, and is very strong looking; the character is played by ex-wrestler John Cena.

Peacemaker is asking the kids, "Any more questions?"
Same scene, but basically the next frame; about a third of the kids in the classroom have their arms raised up.
Same scene. This time Peacemaker has his arm out, pointing at one of the kids in the front row with her hand up. He's saying "Yeah, uh, gender-swapped Alfred E. Neuman."
Zoomed in on one of the kids in the classroom with her her raised up that Peacemaker had just called on. She's got red hair with bangs, freckles, a red shirt with a lightning bolt logo (I think DC's The Flash?), and a smile on her face showing a gap in her two front teeth. The subtitle still shows "Yeah, uh.. gender-swapped Alfred E Neuman."

That's how our hike at the #mummelsee started ... and how it was when we were up there. - But the walk was quite okay.
We checked the rain radar and decided to go back down rather quickly. We leveraged our rain gear and it did not disappoint us! 🙂
So we didn't see the area atop - the so called

Perched atop a densely forested hillside, a quaint observation tower and building overlook a tranquil scene. The lush, evergreen forest—rich with deep greens and hints of lighter foliage—cascades down toward a calm, reflective lake below. The sky above is overcast, casting a soft, diffused light that mutes the colors into soothing tones, creating an atmosphere of quiet serenity.

The structure at the summit, partially obscured by the treetops, suggests a rewarding destination for hikers seeking…
A quiet, winding trail meanders through a lush forest, inviting exploration into its verdant depths. Towering trees, their trunks a mix of muted browns and grays, stretch upward to form a dense canopy overhead, filtering the soft, diffused light that gently illuminates the path. The forest floor is a tapestry of earthy tones, with scattered stones and roots peeking through a bed of pine needles and fallen leaves.

To the right, a rocky slope is adorned with vibrant green moss and delicate ferns…
Shrouded in a veil of soft, misty gray, a solitary stone tower rises from the foggy highlands, its rugged silhouette blending seamlessly with the muted tones of the overcast sky. The tower, sturdy and timeless, is accompanied by a quaint building with a green-tinged roof, its wooden bench inviting weary hikers to rest. The gravel path leading to the structure hints at countless journeys taken, each step a story of adventure and exploration.

The atmosphere is one of quiet mystery and contemplat…
A misty veil of soft gray clouds lingers over this tranquil mountain lake, creating an air of quiet mystery. The dense forest, a lush tapestry of evergreen pines and scattered deciduous shrubs, frames the still waters below. Vibrant green foliage contrasts subtly with the muted tones of weathered rocks in the foreground, adding texture to the scene.

The lake itself rests peacefully, its surface barely disturbed, reflecting the muted light filtering through the overcast sky. A faint outline of …

I just wanna stop being exhausted and sick
I really don't wanna go to my back brace appointment today but last time I called to reschedule the woman was like "you've rescheduled this appointment like 7 times, do you even want it?" YES its not my fault I kept accidentally scheduling it on days I had other doctors appointments or woke up sick ITS ALMOST LIKE I HAVE HEALTH ISSUES

In the black of the winter of nineteen-nine
When we froze & bled on the picket line,
We showed the world that women could fight
& we rose & won with women's might.

STM32MP2 update: I think I have a pretty decent idea of how to boot the second A35 core (core 1) once I have core 0 running.
Still working on how to start core 0 so I can get to that point.
I'm just gonna go out on a limb here and say this probably isn't how ST intends you to figure out the boot chain though...

Home goods company Kohler recently unveiled a new device called the Dekoda
— a $599 camera that can be attached to your toilet bowl and take pictures of what’s inside.
The Dekoda analyzes these images in order to provide updates on your gut health and hydration,
and to potentially detect blood.
It also comes with a rechargeable battery, a USB connection, and a fingerprint sensor to identify who’s using the toilet.

There have been 1,295 cases of pertussis, also called whooping cough, in Florida, an 81 percent surge compared to the entirety of 2024.
And nationwide, cases rose six-fold in 2024 compared to the year before, CDC figures show, a sign of waning immunity against a disease that once struck hundreds of thousands.
