"Try to research a topic that hasn't been investigated before." Ok, google scholar, lets see what I can find. So my topic MIGHT have been done before, but it will cost be $56 to find out. WTF?! Journal articles are insane. I keep having to ask my wife (works @ an ivy) to get articles for me I can't get myself.

I have autism, and I tend to forget things quite often. That’s part of why I’m currently reading Rudolf Rocker – Anarcho-Syndicalism: Theory and Practice for the fifth time.
If you’d like to read it too, you can find it in my “Entry to Left-Wing Anarchist Reading” document, which I’ll keep updating over time with new books, media, and resources.

This might explain why I keep thinking "I could have sworn I took more pictures than that" when I'm trying to take a lot of pictures to document a build in order to create illustrated instructions. 😦

Why does this keep happening? Grammarly recently introduced an AI chat, and also, their spell-checking service, which previously was their main product, suffers from constant reliability issues since them. I'm paying for this service, because it used to be good, I never asked for an AI chat. I can go to ChatGPT, or Google, which used to be a search engine and is now an AI chat with a worse version of the search engine attached. Not that I'd want any of that.

after I type "This is my hole", android gboard sometimes suggests heart emojis.
I was making a note to myself in Google Keep about Amigara Fault, and got sidetracked by the heart suggestion. it's inconsistent. it behaves differently at different times in different blank notes. usually it suggests the hole emoji, but...

A composite of several screenshots. The first one shows the text "This is my hole" with keyboard auto-complete suggestions beneath. The text suggestions are "number" and "in". The emoji suggestions are the hole emoji and the golf emoji.

The second screenshot is the same, except the hole emoji is replaced with the red heart emoji.

Below are snippets showing different varieties of heart emoji suggestions: growing heart, two hearts, revolving hearts.

This particular sequence of heart emoj…

Good Morning #Canada
Congratulations to me on hitting 1000 Good Morning posts. Actually I have no idea how many posts I've published and I even asked Google Gemini and it didn't have a clue. Stupid #AI. My guesstimate would be 1,100 , based on when I started the habit. Last summer I thought about celebrating #1000 and calculated September 30th would be relatively close... and then forgot about the idea.
Most mornings I wake without any content I plan to post. So it's a relaxing web surf with coffee to find something interesting or humorous. I keep this commitment because I enjoy learning about Canada's heroes, history, geography, trivia, and quirks.
I don't remember enough about my posts, and too lazy to go back and review, to list any favourites. Some of the weekly series are fun, I enjoy the #BigStuffInSmallTowns features, and anything involving #Beavers is patriotic and an opportunity to drag you all down to my level.
And Yes, today's post is kinda a filler....
