Rare things are important to get "right", but most things can be "good enough", and sometimes we just need to splash in mud puddles and get dirty.
As we grow up, we often lose that carefree child-like glee in somersaulting down a dirty hill and jumping in muddy puddles.

I took my date to a local museum last weekend. Went to the Drake Well Museum and drove thru the "valley that changed the world." It's really amazing that this whole area was deforested to build boomtowns, oil derricks, and oil barrels. Oil-soaked mud filled the streets and life was just harsh back then. The newly discovered oil in 1859 set about changing the whole area and making where I live one of the richest places in the world at the time.
