Pancho Folk es un artista chileno que me gusta mucho. Tremendamente talentoso, lo suyo es una mezcla de folk y punk con letras muy profundas y criticas.

Welp, I did it. I listened to the #Ramones discography from start to finish in order.
It's surprising how consistent most of the albums are. There are def some low points, but even in later albums, they keep the energy going. It's impressive.

For #MusicWomenWednesday this week, a killer new find-- Melbourne, Australia's PHANTASM. Some really ripping hardcore punk here highlighted by the raw, furious vocals of Bernadette Fitzgibbon. Stumbled across this 4 song 7" EP 'Conflict Reality' that Phantasm put out in 2023 via Hardcore Victim, and I've really been digging it this week.

RANCORS wurde 1998 als Street-/Deutschpunk Band gegründet und ist bis heute ihrer "Do it yourself" - Mentalität treu geblieben. A friend of mine (who is not a technology person) mailed me a thumb drive full of videos.
It took like a month to arrived. We were both convinced it was lost. I finally got it!
When I opened it I saw it had been "compressed" (not crushed) and I had to carefully bend the plastic back to plug it into a USB port.

I'm doing my French homework and the textbook is talking about the mid 90s and how the UK, ruled by an iron fist(!) banned outdoor dance festivals and "music with a repetitive beat". Leading to the "French Touch" - the rise of French groups like Daft Punk and Stardust.
It's weird seeing an era I was around for discussed like ancient history especially as it doesn't really match how I remember it.
