I’m on another #weightloss mission. I can never maintain a steady weight. I enjoy weight loss though because it’s so trackable. I put the effort in and the kgs come off. I’ve upped my exercise (am doing 6 workouts a week) and have cut out all of the shitty junk food and drink. I’m shedding 0.8% of my body weight per day at the moment and it feels good. In
The exercise wasn’t completely useless, though, and I managed to save about 10 GB by turning copies into clones.

The actual amounts are left as an exercise.
It's fair enough that it's difficult to guess how much water would be required for an AI data centre in 2030... but in the context of development applications, a figure representing a base minimum might be expected?
I went downstairs, filled the kettle, waited for it boil, and poured the water into my mug.
I then popped back upstairs for 5 minutes to let it brew. Went back down to the kitchen, gave it a stir. "Hmm this looks a bit weak".
I'd only forgotten to put a bloody tea bag in the mug at the start of the exercise, hadn't I.
Obviously I have now contacted the government and arranged to hand in my British passport.

It's tempting to do everything as fast as possible:
listen to podcasts on double speed,
work in email-free sprints,

But evidence is piling up that the last one might not be as beneficial as it seems
– and that, in fact, just introducing a lot more ultra-low-intensity movement into your schedule can improve your fitness as well as your quality of life,

Just out! My new article, 'Reimagining Our Futures: Education and the Promise of Possibility' in Comparative Education Studies is an exercise in hope to collectively, consciously, and critically re-examine education and education systems.
We can harness education's potential of promise by questioning assumptions - which/whose knowledges are legitimised and valued; what has been counted, discounted or marginalised as evidence.
