Yearly Subscription:
- $8 per Month VAT once -> $114.24 at once
Monthly Subscription:
- $14 per Month VAT monthly -> $199,92 over 12 payments
I prefer monthly payments because they don't take a big chunk out of my budget and I have control to cancel if I want. But that costs extra. I get the constraints and why that model exists but I hate it.

Finally cancelled my Ideogram subscription today, I've had it for the past 12 months and loved it.
Now I'm using ChatGPT 4o almost exclusively for my AI image generation needs.
I updated my paid subscriptions list:

Screenshot of Ideogram.ai billing history showing a list of monthly subscription payments. The subscription changed from 'Ideogram Basic - monthly' at $8.00 on May 28, 2024, to 'Ideogram Plus - monthly' at $12.00 on May 28, 2024, and then to $20.00 starting June 28, 2024, continuing consistently through May 28, 2025. All payments are marked as 'Paid' with green labels. The Ideogram.ai logo is prominently displayed at the top in bold yellow and black text.

So far the Social Security agency’s core functions — like sending monthly checks to 74 million Americans — have remained largely intact.
But under pressure from Musk’s team, nearly half of the Social Security Administration’s 140 senior executives, and thousands of employees overall, have taken buyouts or retired.
As many as 12 percent of staff members, out of a bureaucracy that numbered around 57,000 people, are expected to depart their jobs as part of DOGE’s cost-cutting plan.

Wishful thinking is so powerful.
The docs for #Postfix's headers_checks are explicit & clear: it operates on 1 logical header line at a time, preserving no state across lines. There’s no way to combine rules logically operating on 2 different headers. The man page & the BUILTIN_FILTER_README file are clear: it is unfit for general filtering.
At least monthly someone pops up…

I have once again found out that Patreon unsubscribed me from a feed for which I was paying monthly (James Hoffmann’s channel, in case you are curious), without notifying me at all.
Because it’s a sporadically-updating feed, I didn’t notice for months.
Those of you who fund yourselves with Patreon, beware. This isn’t the first time for me.

after the federal government said staffing shortages hampered its ability to conduct a massive monthly survey.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics, the office that publishes the inflation rate,
told outside economists this week that a hiring freeze at the agency was forcing the survey to cut back on the number of businesses where it checks prices.
