I’ve been churning this article around in my head for a few weeks now. While I have tried to avoid getting political in this newsletter, I can’t do that this time. The theme I planned for this issue is clarity, which often involves choosing which of a handful of choices is the most appropriate word — or words — to use to make our point. But that’s not really where I wound up with this piece.

I have once again found out that Patreon unsubscribed me from a feed for which I was paying monthly (James Hoffmann’s channel, in case you are curious), without notifying me at all.
Because it’s a sporadically-updating feed, I didn’t notice for months.
