I'm so glad that I called a couple of shops today to finally find that shop!!

Managed to repair my digital piano. Two of the c's stopped working. Turns out the fix was easy: I used some 9B pencil to rub the connectors on the piano, as they apparently work with graphite. There was a silicone bit I could take off to get to the connector.
Opening the piano up was by far the hardest part of this repair.

E.g. someone partly disaggregated a system of shared SSH configs and keys such that when I made one change needed for slow-rolling updates across 3 dozen intimately interoperating physical hosts, it created a nightmare.
So now I rebuild what I did in 2016. At least I documented it, so it took far less time to fix than to diagnose.

As a security community we have to make sure that people know about this vulnerability. Right now it's pretty easy to thwart, _don't keep your keys near the front door_.
