So here's the thing. I spend today in the River window manager, on VoidLinux. Time well spend, tweaking and molding everything to my liking. Just as I did on Slackware and Gentoo.

Here is where we picnicked last spring near Comfort Texas along the bank of the now flooding Guadalupe river.
(This location is a few miles downriver from Camp Mystic which is being mentioned and shown in the news.)
It seemed like a nice little river/creek - it is utterly astounding to see the videos being posted of it raging.

Every summer, Yachtley Crue, comes to town and plays in a small venue along the river. We go with some friends who, a few years ago, knowing my love for “yacht rock”, turned us into them. Last night was, I think, our 4th time seeing them together. Super fun, and of course, super cheesy! 🛥️ 🎸 🎷
