Four aliens stuck on earth, plus the adventures of the tiny people that one of the aliens shrunk to keep in his wall like an ant farm. And the Silver Cops.
Pretty good fun. Watched the five seasons on Netflix in a couple of weeks. Apparently there's another if I search or wait.
Interesting how the machine can just keep churning it out even when the lead folks disappear. That's the ideal I suppose. Create the show then let it run on without you.

@simoncox@seocommunity.socialWe watched all of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Smiley's People in the last couple of weeks. These are the Alec Guinness BBC series, and i have to point to them and say what fantastic TV this is even though it is now dated.
You could not make series in this way anymore - it is so calm and laid back but with so much tension. There are many scenes where now they would insist on a 10 minute car chases for dramatical tension.

I am sick and tired of Kumbaya songs. I am sick and tired of turn-the-other-cheek reactions to current affairs in the US.

@jake4480@c.imYesterday I watched both The Fetus (horror, great and gross, has Victoria Heyes from the Terrifier flicks and also Bill Moseley) and also Magpie (thriller/drama, also dark but not gross, with Daisy Ridley) and I enjoyed both. And the similarity here is that both films deal with the responsibilities involved with having kids. 😂
