Lake Mead (Hoover Dam) hat (yet again) den niedrigsten Wasserstand der seit der Füllung in 1937 erreicht. Das letzte mal wurde der "normale" Füllstand im Jahr 2000 erreicht. Seit dem waren bis auf ein Jahr die Abflüsse immer höher als die Zuflüsse.

Re-reading ATM. First read it when I was in my teens, decades later I've been living here for almost 10 years. The minute you drive up to Lao, past Khe Sanh, you know those draftees never stood a chance. And that's not taking the Vietnamese perseverance into account. These Dispatches show you what an utter waste it all was and is. Gotta respect those LURP's and tunnel rats though.
