One typical use of AI coding assistants in my work right now: generating locator maps for Bolivian municipalities on #Wikipedia with Posit AI, R, sf package, and public data.
The process was not fast, but now I'm enjoying the power of code to churn out all 339 of these.

One of the hazards of photographing a much-photographed thing is that, after careful consideration of viewpoint, composition and framing, you take exactly the same pictures as everyone else who has carefully considered viewpoint, composition and framing.
Here are two photographs I took of the Atlas Fountain at Castle Howard, along with the two illustrations from its Wikipedia entry. Years apart in time, inches apart in space.

Heute vor 28 Jahren: Am 13. Juli 1998 fiel im armenischen #Kernkraftwerk #Mezamor während eines Tests das komplette Notkühlwasserpumpensystem (EFP) aus. Die Funktionsfähigkeit wurde nach über 6 Stunden wiederhergestellt. Keine Strahlung freigesetzt.

I’ll be going to a #Wikimedia conference in Kaohsiung, Taiwan 🇹🇼, next month and I had the choice of either:
1️⃣ going to a new airport (KHH) but only on low-cost airlines I’ve flown before, or
