This also show how much bigger Twig is compared to his mom!

A dark grey/brown couch with a grey blanket on it. On top of the blanket are three cats, all curled up and asleep. The smallest is a tabby, middle-sized is a tuxedo cat , and the largest is another tabby but darker (with some red hues rather than just grey/black/white like the other tabby).

Cassie, the 13 year old floof owned by my daughter, had a tough week. She spent a full day at the vet for teeth cleaning and has spent 2 days recovering from the anesthetic. She's not looking too pleased right now.

There is a cauliflower hash brown on that plate. It's not everyone's cup of tea but I adore cauliflower. Sparky doesn't like cauliflower but he might so he needs to get into the small space between my lap and the table to make sure. Usually we shut them out when we eat but I was home alone yesterday, a rare occurrence, and risked it.

For #Caturday we bring you Tails deciding she fits in the flower box. We have been inundated with flowers since Mum died and have to be sure to keep flowers and cats separated as Tails wants to eat them. They aren't usually allowed in the dining room so Tails is making the most of it 😄 Sparky is on the chair in the background, not being a nutjob.

A living room scene (messy, due to kids). In the foreground there's a dark wood staircase railing, and on the railing sits ANOTHER tuxedo cat (Erie). Unlike Clove, Erie is mostly black with just little white paw tips and a white chest. From the back, you'd think she was a completely black cat. Her face is so dark that her features are almost invisible, except for some green half-rings in her eyes.

Another tabby cat (Widget), this one on a gray couch. Her butt is facing the camera, but her head is turned torwards it. She has white mitten paws, but the rest of her is standard tabby.

After a bit, the cat turns its head, gets up, and walks away, making it appear as if its walking straight up a walk (as cats have sometimes been known to do)

Sometimes I try to alleviate the pain by lying face down on a bed. Lately as soon as I do this there’s a cat on my back providing pressure and heat therapy. (And occasional acupuncture!)

Our sunroom is well insulated but unheated. Normal temperature is around 17°C, unless we turn on the gas fireplace when we are sitting back there. Casper got a new heat reflecting blanket from Santa and we installed it under the fuzzy cover for his window hammock. It's made a difference and he is camped out here even on the coldest days. The strategic placement of the bird feeder right outside his window doesn't hurt.
