I'm in tears... my old #Synology DS416play is bloody fast after I've upgraded the RAM from the default 1GB to 8GB. The web interface now loads snappy while it almost wasn't loading at all before.

I did a 21 mile bike ride today. Along the way I saw a turkey, found a good pair of scissors, discovered Hidden Lake, and stopped to see Mama Rosa at Firefly Grove Park in Wauwatosa.

Today I rode the ebike to Capital Drive which is 5 miles towards work... It looks like it would be 3 miles from there to get to work, so 8 miles total, which is 2 more than I estimated.
But on the ebike it was a breeze. I tried to go pretty fast, and the route I took was a perfect biking route. The first 6.5 miles should be easy, though the last 1.5 might be a bit treacherous.
I'll try Thurs or Fri if I can.

Sometimes you see an STL and it looks simple but has a restrictive license so you decide to make your own version...
This is a bike reflector in three parts that screws together (after adding reflective tape to one part) and hides an Apple AirTag inside. It then zip ties to your seat post.

Besides the bruised bananas I am chuffed at today's ride to the store and general adventure ride around town, going places I didn't think I could get to by bike. I rode about 13 miles and a little over an hour. The ebike is great for outrunning traffic or getting up those nasty hills. I still go really slow (PAS 1 or turned off) when on the crowded Oak Leaf Trail.

My niece is in charge of props for a local theater group and asked if I could try to get these light sabers working.
I have never used one of these but when I finally got it powered on and it said "Powered up!" I nearly shit myself.
I did not expect it to talk.
I've seen every Star Wars film and they never talk!
I got one of them working fine, the other had a spicy pillow so I'll replace the battery and see if that gets it sorted.
