My BBC Model B series 7 case looks a disaster inside, but it's working nicely after a recap; caps 1,2,9 in the PSU. It worried me by not beeping - but the capslock worked, and after pushing the socketed analogue chips down under the keyboard it's good. It's a bit fuzzy on the UHF, but there again that is a terrible lead I used. Just has DNFS and View in. The W key took some cleaning, and the '.' is still not working. Getting the aux socket out of the PSU is a bastard!…

My experience (at home) with Manjaro so far has been absolutely terrible compared to my experience (at work) with CentOS and Rocky Linux.

The madness continues. I'm working on getting Handbrake compiled with support for the SvtAv1 `psyex` fork, and after quite a few attempts and fixing a few patches I have it working. This will end up in the final `sisyphus-client:latest` container assuming the current tests pass. I have something similar I need to do with the `sisyphus-client:latest-essential` container with the `essential` SvtAv1 fork as well, but things are looking good.

Finally put together type stubs for an old (last release 2017!) python library I've been depending on for years. And now wondering whether it would have been easier to just contribute types to the library directly. I thought it abandoned but then the maintainer responded up on an unrelated ticket.

Thanks to AI working on realising a long time wish to have a proper high quality map app for my waypoints and travel logs that I kept for like decades.
Nice little SaaS tool - multi user, public profiles, private maps, custom made public maps etc
I dont know anything at all about web development so this is a case of no other option and really loving this.

There’s life beyond VSCode… thought I’d share my dev setup:

defeating Republican Joe Hathaway on a message of standing up to Donald Trump.
