>> By itself, switching from private cars to taxis and rented cars will not itself reduce CO2 emissions, of course. But it would reduce the car industry's market.
And once someone has decided that it is not worth buying a private car, he is more likely to public transportation than than taxis or rented cars even for trips where these would be somewhat faster or more comfortable.
Many people in cities already found that they can commute to/from work faster by metro …

I see this is making the rounds. Good overview of V2G, but the Utrecht project is misleading. These expensive 2000 bi-directional chargers in Utrecht are useless, do not enable V2G for users. There are only a handful (or less) prototype cars with working prototype chargers. The rest is misleading and a waste of public money.

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars: evolution of a masterpiece
I was surprised to learn that Rocket League was actually a sequel to a PS3 game by Psyonix called Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars. With such a catchy title, it's hard to see why it never took off to the same extent as Rocket League did. Having said that, apparently it was downloaded on PSN over two million times, so if anything it just goes to show how I don't keep up with…

At least four of the main principles of Trump's economic philosophy carry significant inflationary risks, according to economists and Wall Street analysts.
1. Universal tariffs: In what would likely trigger a massive global trade war, Trump has called for 10% tariffs on all imports, 100% tariffs on cars made outside the U.S., and a minimum 60% tariffs on Chinese goods.
