Das jüngste Update von Bluesky bringt eine Kennzeichnung von Livestreams und spezielle Hashtags für Beiträge über Aktienmärkte. Die User wünschen etwas anderes.

Hey folks, please, if you are posting especially political stuff, photos, articles, memes... Please use a common hashtag.
If someone can't filter away based on hashtags, the only solution is to mute the whole account. This would be collateral damage.

If you're interested in the #aquarium hashtag, there's a new @… bot that replaced the old a.gup.pe bot.
For those who don’t know, these bots exist because when you look for a a hashtag, your server only checks the posts that have been federated to it.
In order for a message to be federated to your server, the author (or one of the people boosting it) have to be followed by someone on your server. If no one touching the message is being followed, it’ll never get federated to your server and you won’t see it.
So yes, hashtags are great, but they don’t help message propagation.

For all newcomers: please use hashtags. (reasonable ones would be cool 😉). There is no algorithm that will push your content.

Frage #AusGründen: Wenn ich die Sichtbarkeit von Tröts einschränke - z. B. auf Followys - macht es trotzdem Sinn, Hashtags zu verwenden, weil Followys ggf. auch einen Hashtag abonniert haben und der Tröt dann sowohl in deren Timeline als auch unter dem abonnierten Hashtag auftaucht? Oder hab ich da einen Denkfehler?

Tagpush bots are less hassle than the old @a.gup.pe bots because instead of having to mention the bot to get your post boosted, all you have to do is follow the bot and any messages you post with its tag will be boosted. You'll see what the bot boosts and not have to do anything special to have it boost other than add the hashtags you'd be adding anyway.
The @… bot boosts anything its followers post with #iot or #InternetOfThings
The @… bot does the same thing for the #homeassistant tag.
