ADI / Linear Tech LTC4367 power protection controller, from one of my failed 48V IBC designs that blew up from inductive spikes when I applied power.
I didn't do extensive circuit analysis but it looks like one particular net is blown out in several places. Guessing this is the same pin that cratered on the package.
Besides the damage, some other features of interest:

There are no working quantum computers capable of factoring a 3-digit number. Last I heard, the record was the number 21.
That means there is no “production” environment capable of testing the critical feature. Beyond that, PQC deployment in the wild is new/small enough that we don’t even have a lot of assurance that the implementations live up to theory.

It is not AI that is driving tech layoffs. It’s the massive change in R&D writeoff rules that kicked in for TY2022, from the 2017 Trump tax bill.
The ability to “expense” R&D costs was in place for decades and arguably drove US innovation by making it cheap. Now R&D is amortized over 5 years for US work, 15 years for non-US work. The current reconciliation bill would bring back expensing of domestic R&D costs.

It looks impressive now, but that's because it usually takes a lot of work to film shots like this. Once people learn to recognize video AI's "style", that style becomes synonymous with cheap crap.
It happened with images, and it will happen with video. They made a billion dollar machine that instantly devalues whatever the machine produces.

Glaubt uns, manche Preise hätten wir auch gerne schneller geändert. Zum Beispiel Lidl: DC kostet dort einfach nur 0,44 €, aber wir bekommen einen Preis von 0,48 € geliefert.
Gemeldet wurde das schon mehrfach, jetzt auch noch mal mit Beweisen unterfüttert. Hoffen wir mal, dass sich das bald klären lässt. So oder so: im Zweifel zahlt ihr weniger, als ihr im Fuchs gesehen habt.
