Nice new accessible trail in #McLarenPark from Mansell Promenade to John F. Shelley Promenade. No more need to loop around up a steep hill on Shelley to get to the part with the great views west.

Paved path branching off the Mansell Promenade, itself a wide paved path with designated areas for walking and for biking in each direction.

Path continues, curving around higher ground on the left. Cut tree branches lie in a barren area to the right of the path, a tree is off to the left.

Path continues and meets up with another paved path, turning right to the road (Shelley Promenade).

Path ends onto Shelley Promenade with a curb ramp. To the right, Shelley descends a steep hill.

Unter anderem weil am Freitag laut MeteoSchweiz der erste Schnee in Zürich fallen soll, habe ich mein #BromptonElectricGLine heute Abend (naja, eher Spätnachmittag, war aber schon nach Sonnenuntergang) zum #Velofix gebracht zum

This is an earlier version of the winder; the latest version has the ability to build your choice of an SO239 or BNC connector instead of integral coax, if you want.

QRP dual-tapped unun that can be used with EFHW (49:1) or EFRW (9:1) depending on which of the red terminals the antenna wire is connected to. The purple terminal is for counterpoise either way. The coax is RG316.

I haven't registered quite yet, but I intend to do a half marathon in October this year unless things drastically change health-wise. Part of my motivation is that I fear my health will only allow me so many more running days, seeing the darkness at the end of the light, so to speak.
That said, more runs will be happening to try and prepare for that. The weather is getting a little cooler finally, so I'm outdoors as much as possible.

Um uns nach der anstrengenden Wanderung gestern nicht ganz so zu verausgaben, haben wir uns heute mehr herumfahren lassen. Zuerst zum #Skytree und die Aussicht von 450 m Höhe genossen. I rode on this street (15th Ave NE) 1000s of times with no bike lane, when I used to live on 16th Ave NE. It sucked. I pointed out that drivers only really parked on one side of the street. The city had a plan to repave and add a protected bike lane, but it was delayed for years due to, of all things, "natural gas" pipe expansions. I moved to NYC before they started the project.
It looks SO GOOD, and just as I predicted, the parking is not overloaded despite being on only one…

Woo! Got Intext EPROM working on my Epson HX-20 after quite a fight!
After Ghidra'ing the ROM dump to figure out what the error it was giving was about, I figured out it needed me to go through BASIC and do a CLEAR to specify a 'ram file' size for it to use.
Now, to figure out a Ghidra patch.

The way I finally got a reliable, reboot- and sleep-proof wired Ethernet solution on my MacBook Air (M1) was to plug the old Apple Thunderbolt 2 gigE adapter into a TB2-TB3 bridge dongle. Can't tell you how many different USB units I tried without success: 100Mb, 1Gb, 2.5Gb, and even the 1Gb port built into a fancy Belkin Thunderbolt dock.

Been giving Home Assistant another try. It’s ok I guess.
Probsbly not a common problem but there really is no good solutions that I could find for managing multiple locations from a single instance or even some kind of federated view or something.
Integrating Choria Switch and Metric abstractions into it So I can pull in sensor stats and interact with heaters etc - but let Choria keep autonomously own the devices.

For some reason the combination of 160K and my Mitutoyo 100x/0.90 objective means that as the last bits of ILD begin to etch away, substrate features become *less* visible.

Ik betreur dat het zo gelopen is. Als ik dit van tevoren had geweten, had ik dit nooit georganiseerd.’
