#running slow is hard but my fitness is such that it requires a rebuild of the foundation. Trying to stay in HR2 means a decent amount of walking interspersed. I don’t love it, but it’s necessary.
I have a much more open schedule now, so I should be able to get out and run regularly. The trick will be staying patient and trusting the process.

My running/walking stats: 5.01 km in 40:25 for an average pace of 8:03/km

Samstägliches Dinge reparieren.
In die Haarbürste (Tangle Teezer) ist Flüssigkeit gekommen und begann zu schimmeln. Ließ sich recht unkompliziert auseinandernehmen, reinigen, trocken und wieder zusammensetzen.
Staubsaugerfilter musste wieder einmal gereinigt werden. Dabei oder davor ist eine Radaufhängung erneut gebrochen. Die zu kleben war aufwändig. Auch weil ich keine Ahnung habe, wie man das macht und keine Energie zu recherchieren. Habe es mit UV-Harz gelöst.

Lachsarbene Haarbürste aus Plastik in zwei Teile zerlegt. Die Innenseite der Bürste hat zehn Punkte, an denen die Teile ineinander verhaken. Vier am Bürstenkopf und sechs am Griff.

Ein langer, gerader Weg erstreckt sich in die Ferne, flankiert von Feldern auf beiden Seiten. Der Himmel ist teilweise bewölkt, und der Boden zeigt Grasflecken, die über den Bürgersteig wachsen.

Eine hohe Windkraftanlage steht vor dem Hintergrund eines teilweise bewölkten blauen Himmels. Die Turbine verfügt über einen weißen Turm mit einem gelben und roten Streifen. Mehrere kleinere Windkraftanlagen sind in der Ferne, inmitten einer ländlichen Landschaft, sichtbar.

Ein Feldweg führt durch Felder, die auf der einen Seite von Mais und auf der anderen von Feldland begrenzt sind und zu weit entfernten Bergen führen. Windkraftanlagen sind im Hintergrund unter einem teilweise bewölkten Himmel zu sehen.

RIVM update rioolwaarden en percentage positief.
Vorige week zagen we een stijging die aan het eind van de week weer afgevlakt leek.
Dat laatste is (door de afgelopen week toegevoegde data) niet gebeurd, kortom een doorgaande stijging die zich ook in de vier nieuw toegevoegde dagen voortzet.
Dat zijn 14 t/m 17 juli, met 60%-20% van de meetstations.
Ik had overigens 7 dagen verwacht dus het lijkt wat achter te lopen.

Wet run, 6 miles, kept it under 9 minute mile on a new route up north (barely!). Found an abandoned farm house too, very lovely route. All but 200 feet were paved, mostly gravel and water, as former logging roads go 😆
Knee pain on my right afterward, forgot to bring the brace with on this trip, unfortunately. We’ll see how the rest of the week goes 🤞 Air quality tanks tomorrow too, winds coming from the north 😕

Using (cargo) bikes to get shit done. Had to pick up the car after getting new tires installed, so on the way home from work swapped cargo bike for car at the gas station, drove home, rode the 3-speed back to the garage, and towed it home behind the cargo bike.
The cost of the car repair was equal to the cost of the Big Dummy's frame (though not in inflation-adjusted dollars, the Big Dummy is 16 years old).
