Once again I pulled out my ladder and cleaned the gutters in the rental house, and my neighbor’s as well, since we share a courtyard.
I find this simple chore deeply satisfying and love the sound of water gurgling along the gutters and tricking down the downspouts instead of crashing over the sides everywhere.
I remember watching my father do this growing up and that was a task with a two-story house. Now it’s my turn. So satisfying.
