The network install of FreeBSD will show you the available adapters to choose from. The Ethernet adapter shows a lot of info, but the wifi one just said rtw88. Hence I never tried it and used a cheapo tp-link usb stick previously to install via wifi.
Today i did try it, and lo and behold, everything just installed fine 🤣 .
That ThinkPad will get KDE installed, on FreeBSD. Looking forward to it! It is my FreeBSD month after all 🥳
