For some reason the combination of 160K and my Mitutoyo 100x/0.90 objective means that as the last bits of ILD begin to etch away, substrate features become *less* visible.
I expected to see strong contrast at edges of substrate features when the ILD was etched away despite poly, STI trenches, and diffusion areas all being the same material (silicon).
But that's not what I'm seeing.

In August I visited four parks with my daughter on a cross-country trip: Zion, Grand Teton, Yellowstone and Badlands.
It was clear that staffing has taken a serious hit.
Experienced rangers were noticeably absent. Many hikes had been canceled,
and the few rangers we did encounter were young, primarily park interpreters;
even they were in short supply.
In contrast, the visitor centers and gift shops seemed well staffed.
