In Europe, the most popular residency programs, firms said, tend to be in Portugal and Malta.

Bambulab has chosen the wrong path. It might carve out a niche among users who aren't very tech-savvy when it comes to 3D printing (and who aren’t interested in learning either), but all of us nerds who have used their printers are going to tell them to go to hell.

I'd been idly thinking about trying to use a "cheap yellow display" to make a simple device to control a QRP Labs QMX over CAT control. Recently both N6HAN Han and OZ1LAV Steffen have written cool applications for the M5Stack Tab5 (kind of a superset of a typical CYD) for this purpose.

Would any of y'all be interested in an archival curation tool that can handle merging large collections of files?
I'm in the middle of designing something — git is inspiration but the wrong tool for this job — but that allows reintegrating diverged collections of materials, and propagating enough information that if you were to merge two folders, you'd get a relevant set of questions about the contents to successfully and meaningfully merge them.

Recipe for those interested:
Mix 20ml simple syrup (mix one cup sugar with one cup water in a saucepan and heat until dissolved, this makes enough for a lot of cocktails and keeps well in the fridge) with juice of half a lemon and about 15ml of aqua faba (water from can of chickpeas, red kidney beans also works well). Shake with lots of ice in cocktail shaker and strain into glass. If you're not strictly no-alcohol, add a dash of angostura bitters before shaking.
Enjoy in cool, twilit garden, ideally in a hammock while listening to the swifts screaming overhead...

Abstract: The main goal of tomography is the reconstruction of density function out of its line integrals (integral measurements of this density along x-ray lines). Such construction is possible and known as inverse x-ray/Radon transformations. We are interested in generalization of this problem to the case of particles. For this we need to limit the speed of these particles, otherwise the problem is reduced to the previous one. The question we discuss in this paper is how low can this speed be depending on the parameters of the studied potential. We study this problem using simple theoretical examples and Machine Learning pipeline to restore the potential.
