@pgcd@mastodon.onlineWhen I read about companies proud of their "we deploy 200 times per day!" I can't help but wonder how many of those deployments are actually useful vs the ones that are caused by lack of testing or other preventable causes.
Does anybody here working in such a company have an explanation for poor confused me?

I remember seeing a video about some software that you could install on a server that was sort of like Softaculous or other programs that web hosting sites let you use to install applications like Wordpress or Drupal with one click. But this was one you could install even on a raspberry pi. Anyone know what I'm thinking of?

It's not ocean tides, I seriously doubt it's related to temperature. Now wondering if it's related to satellite availability in high Arctic (~77 degrees North)?

@pgcd@mastodon.onlineI received a second hand smart ring, which is kinda my size but not exactly. What material can I use to sort of pad it on one side only (can't hide sensors and should be as snug as possible)?
I'm making do with some wire wound on top but it's clearly not ideal, I tried with window insulation but it's too thick (I need 1 mm or so, and should be soft else my swollen joints would prevent removal)
