Still one of my very favorite museums. As a student, I sat in the garden with a book besides discovering artists I hadn't previously heard of (such as Sol LeWitt) or revisiting the modern classics (Kandinsky, Münter, Klee, Jawlensky etc. etc.). The current Auguste Herbin exhibition is full of contrast and contradiction, vibrant color and geometric elegance - very rewarding! And the garden is as lovely as it used to be.
