Especially after work it really a blessing.
As I'm STILL behind with the recent trips I just browsed the archives for some beautiful memories of a hike last year.
This trail doesn't offer epic vistas but the trail itself is just a gem.

My way went from this point to the right over the summit (not seen on the photo), down to the ridge (right into the photo), along the ridge, and down into the middle of the photo.
An amazing day and an impressive trail!

Before our move to #Innisfil, we spent 16 years in Caledon living on top of the Niagara Escarpment. We were fortunate to take advantage of the hiking trails and scenic beauty of the area with the Bruce Trail, Forks of The Credit Road, and numerous parks within a few kilometers. More Canadians should be aware of this approximately 1,050-kilometre geological feature that today is protected in Ontario as a continuous corridor.

I set my alarm to 5am and headed out for a nice walk. It was getting warm, so I started early. - and it was just so good to do so!
A nice 6h walk with lots of views, lots of photos and just enjoying being out. End the #summit just for me 😍
On the way up I noted all places where I could refuel later using my water filter. Seriously: why didn't I buy that waaays ear…

Oh wait, there's #TrailSense. And you know what's so great about it? It is 100% offline. Like, it uses the barometer sensor and cloud data. Like, the right kind of clouds.
Is it accurate? Obviously not. But given the choice of non-cool online weather predictions, and totally cool offline weather predictions… Also, now I have an excuse to photograph clouds to feed it data, so maybe I'll finally learn to recognize them.
It also has lots of other useful functions — like a compass, sunrise/sunset times, and lots more. And it's on #FDroid.
