Body is a bit wrecked from yard work yesterday. Tylenol doing work, but I’m standing up in stages… more so than usual.
I’ve run out of mulch, which was expected. Whoever did the original landscaping surely hired it out because there is an unholy amount of mulch beds. I’ll probably look to cede some of that back to grass in the future.

Yesterday I cleaned the hallway and had a first pass at the kitchen. Vacuum cleaned the floor, the walls, the ceilings. Today I'll mop the living room and bed room and take another pass at the kitchen. If time permits will do a bit of cleaning on the outside to remove spiderwebs and muss. Last year, we bought a collection of 17 Georgia paintings by 19th- and 20th-century artists, many of whom are lesser known. Even the ones who are better known, like #NellChoateJones, aren't exactly _well_ known. We're excited to start studying these works and learning about the Georgia scenes many of them show.

Crude AM detector demodulates 1kHz signal (blue) from 1MHz carrier (yellow). The output is not great quality, but the circuit is so basic I'm surprised it works. One diode, one resistor, and two capacitors. Similar to the early crystal radio sets, where the crystal served as a the diode.

We hoofed it up Mill Mountain before the heat ~really~ set in. The humidity did not wait, unfortunately, but we enjoyed it all the same.

Galactic foreground and CMB emissions randomization due to chaotic/turbulent dynamics of magnetized plasma dominated by magnetic helicity
